Lethal Journey by Kim Cresswell
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
The predictability and lack of build up in some scenes were not my favourite parts of this story but overall I think Eric and Lauren were a good match that were able to invoke emotions in the reader.
Mystery, sex and romance are all good things to have in a book but I did feel as if the sex and romance overshadowed the mystery more than once.
In Chapter 12 when Eric reflects on Pete being injured and Pete’s wife, Judy rushes in to see him, this was the only scene that had me truly connected in the book because you were able to feel the confusion and disastrous significance of the incident. This was a good attempt at a thriller and there were many parts of the author’s writing that I liked. It just wasn’t as smooth as I would have liked it to be.
