This book was phenomenal. It covered all aspects of behavioural for a military family. I have already recommended it to my friend who spouse is in the Navy because many of the situations in the book are similar to what she goes through on a daily basis.
Closing The Gap: Understanding Your Service (wo) man, is a nice approach for military couples to read and be able to relate to. The author has made the book easy for them to understand. I think the most important thing I took away from this book was that you can be a military spouse without having to modify your expectations or requirements that come with being married to a service member.
The author has also done very detailed research and spoken to other spouses who then share their experience. She makes it clear that the book isn't about personal stories but about learning to understand your service member. Highly recommended and I look forward to reader other work by the same author.
