Tell us about your new book?
Love Me or Leave Me is the second book in my Reality TV Romance series. It’s a sexy, humorous romance loosely based on the HGTV show, Love It or List It. In this story Brynn Dawson, designer for the hit reality show, Renovate or Relocate, has lost to her competitor, real estate agent and close friend, Carter James, one too many times. Now the producer of the show has given her an ultimatum. She needs to give her latest homeowners a renovation that will make them want to stay in their home, or she’ll be replaced.
Carter has been crazy about Brynn from day one and will do anything to take their friendship to a new level and make her his. When the director of the show slips up and reveals Brynn’s possible firing, Carter goes behind her back and risks his reputation to help her keep her job. Only when Brynn discovers what Carter’s been up to, it puts a strain on their relationship. Feeling betrayed she’ll have to decide whether she can move past the deceit and love him or if his lack of faith in her will force her to leave him.
When you are not writing, how do you like to relax?
Relax? I sometimes think I don’t know the meaning of the word. I rarely find any downtime and when I do it’s usually early in the morning when I’m working out on my spinning bike or late in the evening when I’m catch up on shows clogging my DVR.
How often do you write? And when do you write?
My writing time is VERY limited, so I take advantage when I can. I write in the afternoon when my youngest naps, snag a couple of hours twice a week when she goes to the sitter’s house, and write/edit for about an hour when the kids go to bed. I wish I could start at nine and finish at five, but with my chaotic household, that won’t happen for at least another…ten years.

If you could do any job in the world what would you do?
I would love to own a greenhouse. There’s something about taking something from a seed and watching it grow. I’m not sure how successful I’d be considering last summer my vegetable garden produced one green pepper, which my dog stole, and six green beans. But I’ve got a plan for next year. I’m determined to have a huge, blooming garden.
